Current Available Private Outing Dates and Cost:

(If you are looking for information and dates for corporate outings please click here)

The Columbus Curling Club is a completely volunteer run organization and runs member leagues 6 nights a week. Due to this we are only able to offer outings at certain, pre-determined times. If one of these dates and times doesn't work for your group, we hope to be able to get you out on the ice in the future! You can join the "New Outing Dates Notification" mailing list on the right of the page if you would like to be notified when new outing dates are posted.

The links below will take you to our square store where you will be able to directly purchase your otungs for the number of sheets you need. The sheets available column of this table will be updated daily, but may not reflect the most up to date availability, which will be reflected in the store.

Our outings for Winter 2023 are all booked, thanks for your interest! If you want to be notified of any cancellations, you can join the "New Outing Dates Notification" list on the right of the page. If you have a corporate group, or a group which could get together for a daytime outing, you can see those still available dates here.

Fall 2023 Outing Dates will Post in August. You can join that same "New Outing Dates Notification" list on the right to know when the booking for them goes live!

Rental time includes 30 minutes before and after the 2-hour on-ice outing. If groups would like to use our warm room space for time in addition to the curling outing, they can do so for $75/hour. Groups are welcome to bring in snacks, non-alcoholic beverages or catered meals, but know that we do not have kitchen facilities.

The price for the outing provides each participant with instruction, equipment and a one-day social membership, allowing them to purchase beverages from the in-club bar. Per our license, alcoholic beverages can not be brought in and must be purchased from the Club.

The outing will last approximately two hours and starts with an off-ice introduction to the sport and safety review. Next, the participants will head out onto the ice to learn how to sweep and deliver stones. Finally, the group will be divided into teams of 4 players each to play a game for the final hour.

After the conclusion of the game, participants are welcome to relax in our warm room for a drink. It is curling tradition that the winners buy the losers a beverage. We have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options for purchase.

Participants only need to bring comfortable, loose fitting and warm clothes as well as clean athletic shoes. Jeans you can squat in are acceptable, but sports pants are better. We prefer people to carry in the shoes they plan to wear on the ice. Shoes that have just been worn on the street can contain dirt and road salt that affects the condition of the ice. We do have a boot cleaner if you do not have alternative shoes. There are also changing rooms for men and women available.

Curling is a sport where teams have to work together and communicate to be successful. Bring your team out to learn our sport and have a great time in the process.

Good curling!
